Michael Galloway, CPA
Mike Galloway has over 45 years of experience in public accounting, including 10 years with national and large local firms and 30 years as an owner of his own firm. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, where he attended on an academic scholarship and received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting.
Mike is a certified public accountant licensed in the state of Florida and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Mike enjoys general business and tax planning for a variety of companies and individuals. He also manages independent audits, reviews, compilations, tax return preparation, and other compliance work. His clients include construction companies, real estate developers, agricultural entities, schools, churches, and other not-for-profit organizations, manufacturers, distributors, personal and professional service providers, and individuals with various business and investment interests.
Mike has completed over 2,000 hours of continuing education during his career. His educational qualifications meet the standards established by the Florida State Board of Accountancy and current government audit requirements.
Mike has lived in Central Florida for over 50 years. He and his wife, Cindy, have raised three children, and currently attend Northland Church. Mike’s community involvement has included coaching youth sports and assisting various local political campaigns.
Emily Ray, CPA
Emily Ray has been practicing public accounting since 2007. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Accounting and a Master’s of Science in Taxation from the University of Central Florida.
Emily is a certified public accountant licensed in the state of Florida and a member of the American and Florida Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.
After interning with Michael Galloway & Company from 2005 to 2006, Emily spent six years at CliftonLarsonAllen LLP (formerly LarsonAllen LLP). While at CliftonLarsonAllen, she concentrated on tax compliance and advisory for real estate development and construction entities, commercial real estate investors, U.S. tax residents and corporations doing business abroad, and foreign individuals and companies doing business in the U.S.
Since returning to Michael Galloway & Company in 2013, Emily has enjoyed helping businesses of all shapes and sizes with their tax and assurance needs, as well as assisting individuals, estates, and trusts with tax planning and compliance. She became an owner in 2015, and the firm added her name in 2022. Emily has a passion for educating clients and other professionals regarding tax and accounting matters, as well as delving into international tax, structuring businesses to meet the owners' objectives, and working with estate planning attorneys and financial advisors to meet clients' goals.
Emily has lived in Central Florida for over 25 years and currently resides in Oviedo with her husband and their two children. Their family attends Grace Church - Oviedo. In her free time, Emily can be found baking, reading, or spending time outside - swimming, biking, running, at the beach, or otherwise on the water.
